Maawadh Family

This is where it all started for me. I remember asking them to be my photo subjects as I fiddled around trying to figure out how to use different modes on my camera. I was so nervous and unprepared. I had no idea what I was doing. But I am so ever grateful for this family, who was then only a family of 3, for being my models, giving me a chance to explore and dive into a passion I didn't yet know existed. Now, many years later, they still ask me to be their family photographer, and this time in Hawaii.
